3. Certified Scrum Developer program
=====================================================================
We are now an official Scrum Registered Education Provider. This
means that we can offer training through which you can qualify for
Certified Scrum Developer (CSD). We offer the 3 day Agile Engineering
training course that qualifies for the three day technical skills
part of the Certified Scrum Developer program.
On completion of the Agile Engineering course and a Certified Scrum
Master or Certified Scrum Product Owner course, you can qualify for
Certified Scrum Developer.
We will be working closely together with our colleagues from
Zilverline to offer a complete CSD program consisting of a two day
Certified Scrum Master course and the three day in depth, hands on
Agile Engineering course. This program will provide developers with a
good foundation for high quality, sustainable agile software
development.
Would you like to know more? Do you want to improve development
quality with our CSD program? Don’t hesitate to contact us.

4. Configuration management for developers
=====================================================================
On February 6, Willem will present at the FOSDEM 2011 conference
together with Stephan Eggermont, on “configuration management for
developers”.
For developers laziness is a virtue. Therefore we want be DRY (don’t
repeat yourself) when we administer servers. We built a server for a
startup and considered each time we log in to the production server a
’systems administration smell’. Attend our case study to see how we
used a configuration managent system (Puppet), application specific
scripts, and collaboration practices to keep us sane. See how far we
have gotten towards our goal of DRYness and fast recovery, and learn
from our mistakes.
