Call for Sessions XP Days Benelux 2010

XP Day Benelux (25-26 November, in Heeze, NL) is an international conference about Agile development, intended for people from all walks of life who want to uncover better ways of developing software by doing it and helping others do it. XP Days Benelux is made for, and made by, the Agile Community. Now you can be a contributor too.

XP Day Benelux will have something for everyone. Sessions for people who are new to Agile, sessions for experienced people, a good mix of technical, experience, management and process sessions. We’ll have sessions on Agile in real life, stories of success and horror, hands on workshops, and sessions that will completely surprise you!

We are looking for enthusiastic people who want to lead these sessions. People who work with Agile in any role, business or form. People who are willing to share, and are prepared to learn. Reflective practitioners who are not only interested in quality work but also want to know why things work as they do.

We are in particular looking for new, even crazy, topics and ideas!

QWAN supports Alpe d’HuZes again in 2010

Alpe d’HuZes is an event where cyclists cycle to collect money for the fight against cancer, by climbing the legendary Alpe d’Huez at least six times in one day. An almost impossible challenge. Nonetheless quite a few participants managed to achieve this in 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009, even a number of (former) cancer patients. In 2009, 6 million euros were collected. This year, the goal is to reach 10 million!

This year, we are sponsoring Pim van den Heuvel and his team Logica & Friends.
